Accommodations cannot be booked inside the Access Centre. Please book your hotel before July 29th 2007 with the provided web-form of Graz-Tourism and use the following contact-address for all questions concerning accommodation:

Attention: Please use this address only for accommodation concerns! Everything else (final registration, booking of additional services etc.) has to be carried out via the ICEBI Access-Centre. Requests for cancellations have to be send to the ICEBI-Organising Committee via e-mail.

The selected hotels are situated between 2 to 5 kilometres to the conference venue and within easy walking distance to tramway nr. 6, which directly leads to the conference venue.

Directions to the conference venue
Attention: read this paragraph if you are planning to use the tramway in Graz
Tramway nr. 6 is under construction on August 24th and might still be under construction during the conference. The directions below are written for a normally working line nr.6.
During the construction works tramway nr. 6 operates normally between Hauptbahnhof (main railway station) and Jakominiplatz (Centre). Between Jakominiplatz and St. Peter (conference venue) it is replaced by the bus-lines 36 and 36E.
Arriving by plane on airport Graz-Thalerhof

you can choose one of the following options to transfer to Graz:

  • Taxi: about 16-20€
  • public bus to the central railway station or centre of Graz (Jakominiplatz): 1,70€; starts directly in front of the airport; schedule; then you can take tramway nr. 6 to the conference venue, exit at the last station (St. Peter)
  • train to the central railway station of Graz: 1,70€; starts about 300 meters from the airport; schedule; then you can take tramway nr. 6 to the conference venue, exit at the last station (St. Peter)

  • or take a taxi

parking lots will be available at the conference venue on the premises of the University (which are limited by gates)
