Call for papers

The authors are invited to present their most recent scientific results either orally or with posters. Authors of accepted abstracts are requested to submit their full papers until April 20th, 2007.

Due to endorsement by the IFMBE and agreements with IOP we can offer very attractive publishing opportunities. The conference papers will be published by Springer in form of a CD and, on demand, of a hardcopy volume*. So the conference offers the possibility of disseminating your newest results via one of the most famous publishing houses. Moreover, according to good old tradition, we will organize the edition of a special volume on bioimpedance in 'Physiological Measurement' (IOP). After the conference authors of selected papers will be asked for submitting a full manuscript which will be peer-reviewed.

* Should you wish a hard copy of the proceedings, please order it via the function Book additional Services of the Access Centre. ATTENTION: papers will only be published in the conference proceedings if the participation fee is paid until May 31st, 2007.

Publishing via Springer requires a peer-review process so as to meet basic quality criteria requested by the IFMBE. Therefore, in a first pass the abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific advisory board and notifications about acceptance will be sent to the authors by March 15th. The authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to submit their full manuscripts which again will be reviewed by members of the scientific advisory board.
